Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan, who plays Sonam Kapoor's Prince Charming in the soon-to-be-released film Khoobsurat, has a few tips to give on how to walk, speak and behave like a royal in the latest video released by the makers of the film.
The dashing 32-year-old, who plays the stiff lipped Prince Vikram in the film says, "Royals eat food in silence, they're very particular about how they behave and dress in public. They love to party but never get drunk. They're very careful about what they say and how they say it."
But life is temperamental and Prince Vikram finds each of his notions of propriety challenged by the entry of misfit Milli, played by Sonam Kapoor, into his household. She's a walking talking recipe for disaster, atleast by Fawad's standards. She creates havoc at the dinner table and tells matriarch Ratna Pathak Shah, "Yahan Kafi formality-shormality hai na," apart from asking her if her pearls are for real.
In the video, Fawad sternly tells her to dress appropriately, he carries her about when she gets drunk, but there's no stopping motormouth Milli who carries on with full abandon. And when a member from the royal family confides that she has never had a boyfriend, the flabbergasted Milli asks her, "Are you serious."
And this is just the beginning. As someone murmurs in the backdrop, "Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai." Sorry Fawad, but we can't help but agree with that.
Khoobsurat, which hits theatres this Friday, also stars actor Ratna Pathak Shah as a regal matriach, actor Kirron Kher, who plays Sonam's mother Manju, actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Aditi Rao Hydari.
