Hrithik Roshan in a still from Mohenjo Daro.
New Delhi:
Sarman, savior of Mohenjo Daro, is angry, compassionate, hurt and strong. He is also betrayed by those he loves - therefore angry and hurt.
We learnt this from Hrithik Roshan's tweet on Friday, revealing a new poster featuring his character from the film:
Sarman, who lives in 2600 BCE in the ancient Indus Valley, also believes in peace but knows when to square up for a fight. This we learnt from a clip posted two days ago, in which Sarman is engaged in a gladiator-like battle.
Mohenjo Daro, in which debutante Pooja Hegde plays Hrithik Roshan's love interest Chaani, is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The trailer and songs released so far have been criticised for lack of authenticity, with the headdress that Chaani wears singled out for particular ridicule.
Mohenjo Daro also stars Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh. It releases on August 12, the same day as actor Akshay Kumar's Rustom.
