This Iconic Song From Manoj Baypayee's Satya Is Being Remade With Abhimanyu Dassani And Dhvani Bhanushali

The teaser of the song also features a guest appearance from Manoj Bajpayee

Bollywood is no stranger to remaking old classics and now another song has been added to the list. The iconic Sapne Ne Milti Hai from Ram Gopal Varma's Satya is being remade with actor Abhimanyu Dassani and singer Dhvani Bhanushali. A teaser has been shared by Manoj Bajpayee – who featured in the 1998 original song and will also appear in the new version – on Instagram with the caption, “Teaser Out Now! All you mundas and kudis get ready for #KudiMeri because we are.” Manoj Bajpayee played the role of Bhiku Mhatre in the film which has come to be considered a classic. The teaser features Abhimanyu and Dhvani dressed in Indian ensembles and grooving to the peppy beats with a group of dancers.

Before the teaser, Manoj Bajpayee had also shared a poster of the song that said: “Meet #BhikuMahtre 2.0 soon. Dance to the tunes of #KudiMeri this season. Song out on 1st December.”

Abhimanyu Dassani also shared a poster of the song with the caption: “This song will make you tap your feet, move your shoulders and it will make you smile.”

Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee gave fans a glimpse into his process as an actor upon the release of his film Gali Guleiyan. Sharing that the film is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Manoj Bajpayee said: “I was on the verge of losing my mental stability while preparing for this role, so much so that I had to stop shooting. Gali Guleiyan one of the most challenging and rewarding roles I have ever played, is finally. Out on Amazon Prime. The film has travelled the world through national and international film festivals and won many accolades. However, I wanted the film made available to the audience of my country, but getting this done has been a fight, and it has finally come to fruition. I can't tell you how thrilled and excited I am to share this with all of you, and I hope you will also love this film.”

He further added, “Dipesh Jain, writer, director and producer of the film, has been outstanding in leading this project. Congratulations to the cast and crew of the film; they have been exceptional in delivering this masterpiece.”

Satya, considered one of Manoj Bajpayee's finest films, also features J. D. Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar, Paresh Rawal and Shefali Shah, among others.
