Tisca Chopra in Chutney
New Delhi:
Tisca Chopra stars in a new short film Chutney along with Adil Husain and Rasika Dugal. The story of this short is not tangy as its namesake rather it has a very dark and sinister plot. Tisca stars as a housewife from Ghaziabad who spotted her husband (Adil Hussain) with another woman (played by Rasika) from their neighborhood. She invites Rasika home as the latter wants to learn how to cook. She serves her chutney and pakoras which Rasika likes and demands to know how it is made. Tisca replies, "chutney banana kya mushkil hai. Dhaniya, pudina, imli, mircha, nimboo - Par bazaar ka nahi, ghar ka hona chaiye." This last detail forms the crux of the story. Tisca narrates an incident that involved their previous house-help and that's when the story takes that 'chilling' turn we told you about.
