Abhishek Bachchan's Ghoomer released in theatres today. To mark the special day, his friend, actress Sonali Bendre, has shared a hilarious video on Instagram to extend love and support to the actor. The Reels captured the two stars laughing continuously. Abhishek and Sonali are also seen relishing the ultimate monsoon snacks – pakoras and pavs –  in the clip. Abhishek is seen continuously teasing Sonali Bendre as she eats pakoras. Towards the end of the hilarious clip, the actress pushes Abhishek and he ends up on the floor. The text attached to the video read, “Took ‘laugh till it hurts' too seriously.” The video was recorded on the sets of the dance reality show, India's Best Dancer Season 3. While Sonali Bendre is one of the judges on the show, Abhishek Bachchan arrived as a guest to promote his sports drama Ghoomer. In the caption, Sonali Bendre wrote, “Literally and metaphorically…Wishing you so much love and luck for Ghoomer. Kill it, AB [Abhishek Bachchan].”

Abhishek Bachchan and Sonali Bendre have worked together in the 2000 film Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke.

During his appearance on the dance reality show, Abhishek Bachchan revealed how he played a pivotal role in Sonali Bendre's love story with her now-husband, director Goldie Behl, reported Etimes. Abhishek, who has worked with the filmmaker in Drona and Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai, said, "My Bhabhi Sonali is sitting right next to me. I chose her husband, Goldie, for her. He is a very close friend, and I would like to take this credit. I was a Kabab Mai Haddi. I was not actually a Cupid for them, but I used to talk to Goldie when he was shooting the film Angaaray, starring Sonali Bendre. I think that's the first time they had met and, at that time, I remember Goldie used to talk to me and say that Sonali is very nice.” Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl got married in 2002.
