New Delhi: Tiger Shroff's much-awaited superhero movie A Flying Jatt breaks the tradition of Friday releases and hits screen today. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film stars Jacqueline Fernandez as Tiger's love interest. Australian wrestler-turned-actor Nathan Jones stars as his nemesis.
Asked about Remo's decision to cast Tiger in the titular role, the director told PTI: "I wanted a superhero, who is innocent, adorable and someone who is just like us. Someone who has powers but doesn't know how to use it. I wanted an innocent face but when he does action, he should look like a superhero. And who better than Tiger Shroff."
There is a Shraddha Kapoor cameo in A Flying Jatt, which also features actors Kya Kay Menon and Amrita Singh.
It appears that it's going to be a rather dull affair at the theatre this week with the Hollywood section being represented simply by Mechanic Resurrection, which releases on Friday.
