Karan Johar's much awaited movie Student Of The Year, launching newcomers Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra into showbiz, is all set to hit the screens today.

Amitabh Bachchan was among the first to shower praises after watching the movie and tweeted:Student of the Year .. Glorious ! Karan, a directorial accomplishment .. students, mature, lovable. Such a delight to see young talent, blossoming, blooming, flowering and intoxicating us with their verve and boundless talent ..SOTY.
Mr Bachchan had special praise for director David Dhawan's son Varun and further tweeted: The young ones SOTY .. all so fresh and endearing and accomplished ... Varun, David Dhavan's son exceptional !!
Director Farah Khan also praised the young talent and tweeted: Half way through SOTY & enjoying it thoroughly. All 3 actors Aliaa @aliaa08 , Sidharth &Varun are fab. Can't believe this is their 1st film.
