Bhoothnath Returns, sequel to the hit 2008 film Bhoothnath, is a horror comedy with a new plot. The movie, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is set in an urban society and revolves around a fearless street urchin who can see a ghost. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and child actor Parth Bhalerao in the lead roles, the movie features Boman Irani as a politician with Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor making cameo appearances. In a happy coincidence, Bhoothnath the ghost stands for election in the film, as India votes in real life.

From Hollywood comes Rio 2, sequel to the 2011 animated hit Rio. Rio 2 is a 3D musical adventure comedy film voiced by Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg who reprise their roles as macaws Jewel and Blu. Joining them this time are Andy Garcia, Rita Moreno, Bruno Mars and Kristin Chenoweth. The adventures of Blu, Jewel and their three children take them from Rio de Janeiro to the Amazon rainforest where a hidden tribe of macaws have been found.

Up next from Hollywood is science fiction film Divergent starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Zoe Kravitz and Kate Winslet. Set in a futuristic Chicago, humans are sorted into different groups based on their personalities when young. Teenagers can decide to remain with their group or make a switch.
