New Delhi: Actor Ranbir Kapoor returns to the big screen after a year in absentia. Roy, directed by debutant Vikramjit Singh, stars Arjun Rampal as a filmmaker who makes movies about an elusive thief played by Ranbir. Jacqueline Fernandez plays the female lead.
It is the day of reckoning for Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's controversial MSG: The Messenger, a film based on the hurdles faced by a spiritual leader who sets out to wipe out social evils like alcoholism and drug abuse. MSG stars Dera Sacha Sauda leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and has been trending on Twitter for the last few days.
Haryana and Chandigarh are on high alert and the film will not be shown at all in Uttarakhand. Months ago, there was a regime change in the Censor Board after then-chief Leela Samson resigned alleging that political influence had been applied to have the film passed by the Board.
