Vivek Oberoi and Mallika Sherawat's latest film Kismet Love Paisa Dilli (KLPD) releases today. The film is directed by Sanjay Khanduri who made his directorial debut with 2007 film Ek Chalis Ki Last Local.
The comedy thriller revolves around Delhi girl Mallika's character who gets caught in an adventurous journey when she misses the last Metro train. The actress will revisit her Haryanvi roots for the first time in the film.According to the director, KLPD will relaunch the two actors. He also promises that it will be far edgier than his last film.
"KLPD indeed has some unique characters, situations and locations though on a much bigger scale, which is going to be the film's USP," said the director in an interview.
The title of the film is reportedly inspired by Manoj Kumar's Roti Kapda Aur Makaan. It was supposed to be titled Gyaara Chaalis Ki Last Metro, but was later changed.
Actor Vivek Oberoi has revealed that he worked together with composers Amjad and Nadeem on the music of the film which has some foot-tapping numbers like Appy Budday, Dhishkiyaon and Jugaad.
