Toronto:
Hollywood star Tom Hardy snapped at a reporter after he was asked an irrelevant questions about his sexuality at Toronto International Film Festival, where he was promoting his film Legend, reported Ace Showbiz.
He was at the media interaction with his co-star Emily Browning and director Brian Helgeland, where the question about his sexuality 'irked' the actor. In Legend, Mr Hardy is seen in a double role, of the infamous East End London gangster twins Ronnie and Reggie Kray. Ronnie was openly gay.
It was when a reporter linked Mr Hardy's personal life, asking about his sexuality based on an interview he gave to a magazine in 2008, when Mr Hardy retorted: "What on earth are you on about?"
When the reporter persisted and asked: "I'm wondering if you find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality." (Also Read: Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hardy to Star in Marvel's Doctor Strange)
He replied: "I don't find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality. Are you asking about my sexuality?" To which the reporter said: "Sure."
But Mr Hardy dismissed him with a "Thank you."
