Not only does that make the Disney film thehighest-grossing film of the year but the highest-grossinganimated film of all time, reported Forbes.com.

The film, starring the voice talents of Tom Hanks astoy cowboy Woody and Tim Allen as his astronaut sidekick BuzzLightyear, now ranks as the fifth highest-grossing film of alltime.

Alice In Wonderland, starring Johnny Depp, came insecond place pulling in USD 1.02 billion, making Disney thefirst studio ever to have two films in a year cross the USD 1billion mark.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:Part 1 was thethird highest grossing film with a haul of USD 831 million.Inception, ranked fourth with USD 825 million, theonly film in the top 10 that isn't animated, a sequel or aremake.

Seven of the top ten were aimed at children or youngteenagers, with the Leonardo DiCaprio thriller the onlygrown-up offering to claim one of the top five spots.Shrek Forever' with a haul of USD 737 million roundedoff the top five.

There's no getting around the fact that the Twilightmovies are huge money makers. The latest film earned USD 693million and Iron Man 2 landed the seventh spot with a boxoffice total of USD 622 million.

Despicable Me came eighth with USD 539 million,Clash of the Titans and How To Train Your Dragon roundedoff the Top 10 with USD 493 million each.
