Transformers 3 extra sues Paramount
Los Angeles: An extra injured on the sets of the much awaited sc-fi flick Transformers 3 has filed a lawsuit against the producers, Hollywood studio Paramount, citing negligence.

Gabriela Cedillo was injured while filming a car chase scene and suffered brain damage. Her brother Adolfo Romo has filed the lawsuit against the studio claiming they failed to "provide adequate safety precaution."

The documents mention that numerous mechanical and procedural malfunctions caused the incident, reported Radar Online.

"We filed a case this morning in Chicago and made a request for a jury trial," said Cedillo's attorney Todd A. Smith.

Cedillo is seeking money in excess of USD 50,000 on counts of negligence against seven companies and individuals involved.

Cedillo herself has been transferred to the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago on Friday, October 1.

"She's unable to speak and is paralyzed on her left side. It looks like she has vision loss in the left eye, which is sewn shut because there's a paralysis associated with that and they don't want her eye to dry out," the attorney details her condition.
