New Delhi: Malayalam superstar Mammootty stars in Bilal, the sequel to his 2007 blockbuster film Big B. Mammootty is coming back as Bilal in Amal Neerad-directed film. The news was revealed by actor Dulquer Salmaan, Mammooty's son, on social media. He also posted the first look of the film and captioned it as, "He's coming back !!! #Bilal #BigB #part2 @mammukka #amalneerad ! Yassssssssss !!! #fanboy." The poster reveals that Bilal, which is currently one of the trending topics on the Internet, will release in 2018. Big B was an action-thriller directed Amal Neerad. Twitter too is elated to learn about Big B's sequel Bilal and people are assuming that Dulquer Salmaan also has a role in Mammootty's film.

Big B's plot was loosely based on the Hollywood crime thriller Four Brothers, starring Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin, and Garrett Hedlund.

Mammootty, 66, is currently awaiting the release of his next film Streetlights, directed by Shamdat. The film is expected to hit the screens early next year. Streetlights is produced by Play House Motion Picture.
