As the Internet came to terms with the news of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' reported engagement, rumours of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's impending wedding entered the Friday's trends list. As per a new Filmfare report, Deepika and Ranveer have finalised Lake Como, Italy for their destination wedding, which has reportedly been fixed for November 10 (however, other websites have floated different wedding dates). A source close to the couple told Filmfare: "Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalised Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place."
Reports of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's imminent wedding have been trending on again and off again for some time now, mostly guessing the date and destination of the big day but neither Ranveer nor Deepika set the record straight. Last month, it was also reported that Ranveer and Deepika decided to get married in Mumbai, followed by a reception in Bengaluru (Deepika's hometown).
However, Filmfare recently reported that the date was set for November 10 keeping in mind the actor couple's busy work calendar. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were last seen in "Padmaavat" (they did not have scenes together) and as of now, Ranveer Singh has one more film releasing this year while two of his work-in-progress projects will open in theatres next year. Rohit Shetty-directed Simmba is slated for December release while Kabir Khan's '83 and Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy will hit the screens in 2019.
Deepika Padukone hasn't announced her next project yet but the actress has several other work commitments - endorsements, event appearances and work for The Live Love Laugh Foundation - to keep her on her toes.
