New Delhi:

It's the season of love, at least in the Dharma cinematic universe, because Tum Kya Mile from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is out now. Remember how the film's director Karan Johar wrote this morning that the track is meant to be a tribute to film legend Yash Chopra - well, it absolutely is. Chiffon sarees - check, snowy mountains - check, picturesque locations, meaningful lyrics and soothing music - the song has all the elements of a quintessential Yash Chopra song ( think on the lines of Chandni, Silsila, Dil To Pagal Hai). Coming back to the song, Tum Kya Mile is straight out of a dream. The track begins with Alia Bhatt thinking about her love - Ranveer Singh. The video then transitions to postcard worthy locations, outfit changes and Ranveer and Alia creating sheer magic on screen. You'll know when you see it.

This morning, Karan Johar had shared an extensive post, in which he mentioned that the song is a tribute to his "guru" Yash Chopra. "I remember at the very onset my instinct was that I wanted to film a love song that would unabashedly pay homage to my guru Yash Chopra.... The thinking evolved mind would say "you can't match it or even dare to emulate it " but the fan boy and the ardent lover of snow, chiffons, the stunning locations of Kashmir and sheer romance got the better of me." wrote Karan Johar.
