Mumbai:
In order to promote their upcoming releases, stars are often known to dress up in their onscreen avatar to leave behind a lasting impression on the minds of the audience. However, it can often lead them to tricky situations.
Tusshar Kapoor tried to do just that by arriving at a promotional event in the get-up of a sardar and ended up being pushed and shoved by one of the bouncers of lead actress Kulraj Randhawa.
Tusshar and Kulraj were to unveil a hoarding of their movie Chaar Din Ki Chandni in Juhu, when he decided to turn up in the get-up of a sardar, that his character pretends to be in the movie.
The actor did not take the bouncer's push kindly and he pushed the man back.
"So a minor scuffle ensued between him and Tusshar till the bouncer was told that it was the actor himself," a source said.
Tusshar confirmed the story and put the blame on the organisers. "Since I play a sardar in the film, I went sporting that look. Maybe there was miscommunication on part of the organisers," the actor said.
