Mumbai : Tusshar Kapoor is extremely upset with filmmaker Samir Karnik with whom he worked in Char Din Ki Chandni. Earlier Tusshar had filed a case against Karnik for non-payment of Rs 1.75 crore which he had given him as a loan to promote his film. Now apparently Tusshar's cheque of the part payment of his remuneration has also bounced.
Zameer Nathani, legal advisor for Tusshar Kapoor said: "Yes, his cheque of Rs 36 lakh after the TDS was cut from Rs 40 lakh has bounced. The cheque was dated for July 30, and it was part payment of an agreed amount between the two. However, the cheque bounced with a letter stating "insufficient funds".
"Now we are filing a police complaint and a legal case about cheating and breach of trust. It will be filed under Section 138 and we have also filed a complaint at the Cine Artistes Association and the matter is going on."
Samir Karnik did not reply to any SMS.
