Following the footsteps of TV actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam who have made it big in Bollywood another small screen actor is all set to take a big leap to the big screen.
According to sources Sharad Kelkar, seen in successful TV shows like Uttaran and Saat Phere, has been approached to play a pivotal role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Ram Leela.
The source further added: "Sharad is expected to take part in the first schedule as well as the outdoor schedule, which will commence by the end of this month in Mumbai."
Currently, Mr Bhansali is busy working on the pre-production of his film.
The source added that the actor has signed the film but is now allowed to divulge details. "Sharad is in talks with Mr Bhansali. Things will get clearer over the next two days."
Sharad Kelkar remained unavailable for the comment.
