Rachelle Lefevre, the actress who played the vampire, Victoria, in the first two films of the superhit <i>Twilight</i> series, will play a doctor in the new TV medical drama <i>Off the Map</i>.
The 31-year-old actress who has killed many humans on-screen during her <i>Twilight</i> stint, will soon be saving lives during her turn as Eva, a "hippie doctor",Contactmusic reported.
The Canadian actress will play the happy-go-lucky character, a doctor who works in the tropical region where the show will be based.
The show will also cast Meryl Streep's daughter, Marnie Gummer.
