Twinkle Khanna Explains LOL Expression Of Finding Herself 'On A Set 2 Decades Later'

Twinkle Khanna, who never shies away from sharing a laugh over self-directed jokes at her brief acting career, just did something similar on Thursday. The actress-turned-author tweeted a photo of hers from what appears to be an advert shoot and captioned it: "If someone told me in my twenties that I would still find myself on a set two decades later-I would have probably laughed just like this!" Twinkle, who represents a few cosmetic labels, can be seen getting her hair done in a studio while literally LOL-ing with a cuppa in her hand. As if that wasn't enough, she added this in the hashtags: "The chronicles of the middle-aged model." Now, we are LOL-ing.

On her Women's Day post, Twinkle poured her heart out over her career changes in a lengthy Instagram post and wrote how she "caved in and joined the family business" and then "Eight years later, I had to face the fact that I had spectacularly failed as an actress."

Twinkle made her Bollywood debut with 1995's Barsaat and then featured in movies like Mela, International Khiladi, Joru Ka Ghulam, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai and Jodi No.1 among others, which returned only poor responses at the box office. After career switches, the Twinkle Khanna of now is a best-selling author, a columnist, an interior designer, a producer and a Twitter humourist, of course. Twinkle Khanna had also tweeted about her "legendary acting skills" in the past and even told NDTV at some point: "I have no acting skills! You need acting skills to act, not intelligence."

Twinkle Khanna debuted as an author with Mrs Funnybones in 2015 and then released The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad in 2016 and Pyjamas Are Forgiving in 2018.
