Twinkle Khanna, who had been pursuing a Master's degree in writing at University Of London, finally submitted her dissertation and she can't be happier. On this occasion, Twinkle shared a reel on her social media feed. The reel begins with Mrs Funnybones' voice over though she summarized her thoughts and feelings in the caption section as well. In the reel, Twinkle shows her followers a glimpse of her dissertation. She gives a tour of her university, shows library, shares glimpses of her afternoon snacks, the staircases which she frequently "walks up and down." The reel ends with Twinkle's final realisation - "age is a mathematical problem."
Twinkle began her post with these words, "A year of reading, analysing, figuring out what even eighth graders know these days, how to do citations, dealing with assignments and submissions, and finally, by handing in my dissertation, it all comes to an end. I thought that handing in my final dissertation would be like breaking out of an academic escape room. But instead of celebrating, I am feeling lost because something that has been such a large part of my life for an entire year is now over."
Twinkle mentioned in her post how she managed in a new city and how difficult it was to move her daughter in a new country. "For younger students, their parents organise logistics. For people at my stage we are the organisers. I applied to five universities, got rejected by one, but got my first choice. Then, I had to do the tough bits: getting my daughter to move, not just schools but countries; arranging my work in a way that I can manage virtually and fly down repeatedly; finding a place to live, doctors, plumbers, delivery apps, and making friends in a new city. It's all been overwhelming sometimes," she wrote.
The last part of Twinkle's post was about her thought-provoking realisation. She wrote, "The most important lesson I learned this year? Age is not a division sum where we are reduced to a fraction of what we were. It is a multiplier if we choose to keep growing in every way and not just horizontally. Agree? Disagree?"

Twinkle Khanna loved to record moments from her student life. In an Instagram post, she shared what her university life was like. "What's it like going back to Uni on the cusp of my fiftieth year on this planet? Well, it's now been nine months of attending classes and questioning my sanity as I sprint along the last stretch of finishing my Masters. Who knew I would be willing to put myself through submissions, grades, and a thousand mugs of coffee as I try to focus through lectures? Sometimes I think I should have applied for a Masters in strange life choices instead of one in writing," read an excerpt from her post.
