Rishi Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna photographed in Mumbai.
New Delhi:
Author Twinkle Khanna has often acknowledged that her given name keeps things interesting, sometimes causing her embarrassment, at other times mirth. So when she spotted it on the back of a Mumbai autorickshaw, she tweeted it, wondering if a free ride was in the offing.
Her tweet was seen and noted by actor Rishi Kapoor, who was Twinkle's mother Dimple Kapadia's first hero in the 1973 film Bobby. And since it's hard to outdo Rishi Kapoor on Twitter, this reply was forthcoming with both his name and that of the film (albeit with a letter missing):
You got the 'logic' just a little bit wrong, sir. This was how the conversation ended:
After their first hit outing, Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia made several movies together, including 1985's Saagar and 2005's Pyar Mein Twist. (Also Read: Rishi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt #SameGuy. Let This Picture Convince You)
Now I wonder if I hailed this rickshaw would I get a free ride :) pic.twitter.com/d1gblIwdN5
