Supermodel turned TV host Tyra Banks is all set to add another feather in her cap by stepping into the shoes of a director with an "over-the-top Italian drama".
The 36 year-old who has donned several roles as a model, television personality, actress, photographer and singer will direct a mini-movie on her show 'America's Next Top Model'.
Banks also produces the superhit reality show and also hosts her own talk show 'The Tyra Banks Show.'
On an upcoming episode of the latest season of her model-hunt show, she has directed as well as edited the film starring the four finalists of the show, reported People magazine.
Banks who has also penned a book called 'Modelland', said that there are many fashion designers who make movies.
"A lot of designers and people in the fashion industry are feeling like the future of fashion is not just still photos, but they've been doing mini-movies where the models are acting things out", she said.
Banks said that photography has been her "personal hobby".
"Photography has been my own personal hobby for the last eight years, so I was ready for movement. But it was so hard. It was 100 degrees and the girls were really struggling with the heat. But when I got to editing, I was like, 'Oh my god, I love this," she said.
