Los Angeles: Ugly Betty actor MichaelBrea has allegedly murdered his 55-year-old mother by severingher head with a 3-foot long samurai sword while chantingbiblical incantations.
The 31-year-old actor, who appeared in some episodesof the hit US TV series, was accused of slicing Yannick Brea'shead at their Brooklyn, New York home, TMZ reported.
"I hear the brother chasing her (his mother) throughthe house and he's just saying a bunch of (Bible) passageslike, 'Repent, Repent,Repent'," said a neighbour.
Brea was arrested Tuesday morning after police foundhim clutching a bible and repeating verses of repentance andreligion from it.
Brea was taken to a nearby hospital for psychiatricevaluation and will be handed over to the NYPD afterwards.
