Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are having a blast while shooting for their maiden collaboration Bawaal. From goofing around to eating yummy food, Varun and Janhvi have found ways to have fun amid their busy schedules. And we know this because of the many posts that the Bollywood stars have been dropping over the last several weeks. Now on Friday, Varun has shared an album of pictures which he captioned as “Summer Of Bawaal,” showing us a sneak peek of what the actors are up to. The post begins with a photo of Varun leaning out of a stationary train to shake hands with a child.
This is followed by images of the scenic locations the cast shot at as well as pictures of Varun Dhawan playing with an adorable pet dog. We even got a glimpse of Varun and Janhvi indulging in some delicious meals and posing for selfies.
In one slide, Varun Dhawan also recorded the team, including director Nitesh Tiwari, waiting for Janhvi to leave for shoot. In the clip, he is seen teasing Janhvi for arriving late. Also, do not miss the images of Varun posing on what appears to be a dance floor with disco lights.
In the caption, Varun Dhawan read, “Summer of #Bawaal. In between work I've been exploring, observing and sometimes meeting up with European dogs - part 1.”
Reacting to the post, Janhvi Kapoor said, “You're copying me.” To this, Varun Dhawan said, “Janhvi Kapoor, oh I didn't realize you invented photo dumps, wow ya so innovative you are.” Janhvi replied, “Stop screaming.” Not one to back down, Varun Dhawan said, “Sorry I am eating sugar free ice cream. I'll reply in a bit.”
Janhvi Kapoor's cheeky “you're copying me” comment can be traced back to an Instagram post that she shared on Thursday. The actress shared a bunch of monochrome behind-the-scenes images and penned a note on her journey on the film.
In the caption, Janhvi wrote, "From stalking Nitesh sir and Sajid sir to make sure i get this film, to praying obsessively that it happens, to pinching myself every day that I'm actually shooting for it, to having finally wrapped it. I still can't believe that I've been lucky enough to be a part of this wholesome, heartfelt world that Nitesh sir has created. I've learnt so much from you sir, so much about films and making movies with love but more about the value in being a person that leads their life with such dignity and honest values.”
Thanking her co-star Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor added, “And Varun, I can say thank you for always looking out for me and all those generic things that hold true but what I really want to say is that although we disagree and annoy each other more often than not, Nisha will always be on Ajjus team and always root for u and also find restaurants that have salmon tartare or grilled chicken for u."
