Another day, another video from Varun Dhawan's Bhediya diaries. No, we aren't talking about a clip from the film's promotional campaign. This time, it is a behind-the-scenes video. Here, Varun and his co-stars Abhishek Banerjee, Paalin Kabak and Deepak Dobriyal are singing some soulful numbers from the 1981 film Love Story. The clip opens with Varun and team singing Dekho Maine Dekha Hai Ye Ek Sapna. A few seconds later, Varun, who is also recording the video, breaks into Yaad Aa Rahi Hai and others join him. Don't miss the Bhediya twist towards the end. Along with the clip, Varun wrote, “BTS -We sang songs in between shots with Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee and Paalin Kabak driving around Ziro.” Ziro is an old town in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. Replying to the post, Sophie Choudry wrote, “This crew needs to make a version of “pyaar hume kis mod pe le aaya.” Well said, Sophie. Actor Abhishek Banerjee said, “Sadko ki yaad aa rahi thi…” To this, Paalin Kabak replied with a laugh with tears in eyes emoji.
Bhediya is directed by Amar Kaushik. The film is all set to hit the theatres on November 25. Dinesh Vijan has backed the project. The movie has its roots in popular folklore. The film has been shot in Arunachal Pradesh.
At the time of releasing the trailer, Varun Dhawan said, “Presenting the official trailer of India's first creature-comedy, Bhediya! In cinemas on 25th Nov in 2D and 3D.”
The makers of Bhediya have released two songs - Thumkeshwari and Apna Bana Le - so far. It won't be wrong to say that both songs have stolen a million hearts. Oh, and, as per the makers, Thumkeshwari is the “biggest thumka anthem of the year.” Take a look:
