Actor Varun Dhawan's first-ever wax version is being readied for Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. The 30-year-old actor shared the news on social media with pictures and wrote, "Huge honour can't wait to come there and stare down my wax figure. Thank you." Varun will be the fourth Indian to have a wax figure in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong after Mahatma Gandhi, Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan, which are currently on display, reports news agency IANS. He will unveil it in the first quarter of 2018. A team of experts from Madame Tussauds sculpting team travelled to Mumbai to meet Varun and conduct a detailed sitting process.
IANS reports that than 200 measurements were taken, the team also matched the hair and eye colour of the actor. Varun also worked closely with the team and kept sharing his ideas on the pose of the figure.

"Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan to have his world-first figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Visitors can get up close with the first youngest Indian Bollywood superstar in 2018 at the famed attraction at The Peak," reads the text on Madame Tussauds' official website.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who launched Varun, congratulated the actor and wrote, "Guess who is at Madam Tussauds now?? In Hong Kong! Presenting @Varun_dvn ....it's on its way!!!!"
Varun Dhawan, son of filmmaker David Dhawan, made his Bollywood debut with Student Of The Year. His latest film Judwaa 2, which released last month has already made a business of over Rs 200 crore globally. Varun Dhawan is the star of films such as Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badlapur, Dilwale and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. He is currently prepping for Shoojit Sircar's October.
