New Delhi:
The first poster of Veere Di Wedding is here guys! Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor headline the poster, wow, they do that with quite a bit of wedding bling. Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar occupy the other half of the poster and are giving off equally festive shaadi feels. Bright hues of yellow, orange and gold is what dominate the poster - with the four shaadi-special ensembles adding shades of bling to it. Kareena sports a beautiful yellow embellished lehenga (we want), Sonam Kapoor's off-shoulder choli just joined our list of wedding must-haves, Swara Bhaskar's hair-do is giving us ideas for the next family function and last but not the least, we all need a hand like Shikha Talsania at a wedding.
"Get ready," says the poster while "Mahurat out tomorrow," says Sonam Kapoor. Anil Kapoor, who is always the first person to step up with a shout out, quickly shared it on his Twitter page.
Team Veere Di Wedding have wrapped the Delhi schedule of the film and are soon to get busy with the remaining parts. Earlier this month, the stars of the wedding drama flew back from the National Capital to celebrate Diwali with their family. While happy selfies are all we could find on the movie's Instagram page, some reports insinuated that all's not well between the four veere. Sonam dismissed such reports with the swish of a hand, ensuring that a "kick-a**" movie is in the making.
Directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Sonam's sister Rhea Kapoor, Veere Di Wedding is expected to arrive next year. Veere Di Wedding is Kareena Kapoor's first movie after she welcomed Taimur Ali Khan in December last year.
