Vicky Kaushal is on a roll. The actor, who is playing the revolutionary, Sardar Udham Singh, in his upcoming film, has been treating fans to unseen pictures of himself as the character. Most recently, Vicky Kaushal has shared a photo of himself from the sets of Sardar Udham in a never-seen-before avatar. Here, he is seen trudging through the forests of Eastern Europe. Covered in a fur coat and a cap, the cold is evident from the snowflakes gathered on his face and beard. Sharing the image, Vicky Kausal wrote, “1933, somewhere in the forests of eastern Europe.” One of the first comments came from Bhumi Padnekar, Vicky Kaushal's co-star in the film Bhoot: The Haunted Ship. The actress wrote, "Wow". Actor Ranveer Singh said, "Hard...Hard...Hard". Fans of the actor also dropped a bunch of clap and heart emojis below the photo.

On Thursday, too, the actor uploaded a snapshot of himself as Sardar Udham Singh, this time as a prisoner in 1931. Vicky Kaushal also shared some trivia about the revolutionary's imprisonment. In the caption, the actor wrote, “1931, Prison, India. Sardar Udham Singh was in prison for possession of prohibited papers "Ghadr-i-Gunj" ("Voice of Revolt ''). He was released later but under constant surveillance. Soon, he escaped to Europe and never got to return to India.”

Vicky Kaushal had also shared an intriguing picture of his character, this time with a scar on the face. “Tell people I was a revolutionary,” the caption said. At the trailer launch, Vicky Kaushal had revealed that he had suffered an injury while the film was being made. "The scar you see in the film is real," the actor said, adding that he had to get 13 stitches on his face.

The film directed by Shoojit Sircar is based on the life of Sardar Udham Singh who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in Westminster, London in 1940. 

Sardar Udham also stars Banita Sandhu, Amol Parashar, Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Kirsty Averton. The film will premiere worldwide on October 16 on Prime Video.
