London:
Singer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham admits she often uses her own measurements when draping fabric for her outfits because she finds her figure represents the "general public".
"We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever and I say, 'ok, I'm going to put it on - I stand for the general public here.' It's how I work," femalefirst.co.uk quoted the 37-year-old as saying.
Victoria, who has regained her trim waistline after giving birth to daughter Harper Seven last July, admits her pregnant tummy got in the way of her design process.
"I found it really difficult when I was pregnant and I couldn't do that. It's part of the process. I'll stand here in my knickers and start draping fabric over myself," she added.
