Mumbai: Vidya Balan and her hubby Siddharth Roy Kapur reportedly cut short their Caribbean Islands honeymoon and returned to Mumbai.
The reasons had apparently to do with wrapping up some pending work. However, our sources tell us that Vidya is quite the family girl when it comes to celebrating her big days. And that is the reason why she returned to Mumbai. Vidya is also among those who celebrate their birthday on January 1.
A close friend of Vidya says, "January 1 is special for Vidya as it is New Year and also her birthday. She wants to spend the day with her family and her in-laws."Earlier there were reports that Vidya had hurried back from her honeymoon to shoot for some remaining portions of her film with Emraan Hashmi that is being produced by Siddharth's company.
"But in reality, both Vidya and Siddharth want to celebrate the day with their families together," adds the source. The actress' friend adds, "Both Vid and Sid come from close-knit families.
