Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Ghanchakkar will release on June 28.
Mumbai:
Actress Vidya Balan is being compelled to cancel her plans to promote her forthcoming film Ghanchakkar thanks to the Mumbai monsoon.
"Vidya was ready to leave despite heavy downpour, but due to heavy rain, her staff, which was travelling from various corners (of the city) could not reach her house in time," said a source close to the actor, who had to back out from promoting her flick at a mall here recently due to the incessant rain.
"Even members of UTV were stuck due to severe water logging and were unable to reach. So, naturally she could not attend the promotional event scheduled on Sunday (June 16, 2013) at the mall," the source added.
Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Ghanchakkar hits the screens on June 28. It also features Emraan Hashmi.
