Mumbai:
Vikram Bhatt's action drama Lanka, which he terms "modern day folklore", will release worldwide Dec 9.
"Lanka is an emotional journey of a man torn between the loyalty for his mentor and the empathy he feels for a girl; a journey of a modern-day 'Asur' (daemon) who chose to be a man; a journey of a man who would be termed a traitor by some, and a righteous by others," a statement issued Tuesday said.
Featuring Manoj Bajpayee as Raavan and Arjan Bajwa as Vibhishan, the film is produced by ASA Production and directed by Maqbool Khan.
The film aims to highlight love, loyalty, betrayal and justice.
