Actor Vikram's Tamil film Thaandavam has successfully passed the censor board test, and has been awarded a U-certificate.
"Delighted and happy 'Thaandavam' censored and given clean U-certificate without any cuts. Hereby confirm release date as Sep 28," tweeted Dhananjayan Govind of UTV Motion Pictures.
The film, directed by A.L. Vijay, also stars Telugu actor Jagapati Babu, Amy Jackson, Anushka Shetty and Lakshmi Rai in key roles.
Director Vijay has made five films to date, and all of them have been awarded U- certification.
An action-thriller, Thaandavam tells the story of a RAW agent, played by Vikram, who avenges the injustice done to him.
