Jaya Bachchan got mad at paparazzi again, this time at Indore airport where she and husband Amitabh Bachchan were welcomed with bouquets as well as flashing cameras. Ms Bachchan, wearing sunglasses, instantly took exception to being photographed. In viral footage from the airport, the actress-politician can be heard saying, "Please don't take my picture," adding sarcastically, "You don't understand English?" As security cleared a path for her, Jaya Bachchan can be heard saying, "Aise logon ko naukri se nikaal deni chahiye (such people should be fired)." Behind her, Amitabh Bachchan follows in silence.

Jaya Bachchan and paparazzi do not get along, to put it mildly. Last October, she was filmed telling a paparazzo who stumbled, "Serves you right," adding, "I hope you double up and fall." She later called photographers outside Pratiksha, one of the Mumbai bungalows owned by the Bachchans, "intruders" and told them off for using the flashes on their cameras.
Jaya Bachchan broke down her antipathy to paparazzi in granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda's podcast. "I hate it. I despise it. I despise the people who interfere in your personal life and fill their stomachs by selling those products. I hate it, I'm disgusted with such people. I always tell them, I say, 'Aapko sharam nahi aati hai (Don't you feel ashamed?),'" she said on an episode of What The hell Navya. Navya, daughter of Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda, had been with Ms Bachchan when she told the paparazzo who fell that she hoped he fell again.
Jaya Bachchan will be seen next in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh and directed by Karan Johar.
