Mumbai: Filmmaker-composer Vishal Bhardwaj, who recently said singing reality shows are a boon for fresh talent, believes competition in the field of singing is unrealistic.
"Personally, I don't believe in competition in singing because singing is the expression of your soul, and that expression of soul is so personal. Everybody has expression of soul and you cannot compete with that," Vishal Bhardwaj told IANS.
Meanwhile, he hopes to release an album with his singer wife Rekha next year.
Vishal Bhardwaj's Ek Thi Daayan is up for release on April 18.
