The Frightening Moment Actor Vishal Was Almost Hit By A Truck On Set

Tamil actor Vishal's near-death experience on the sets of his upcoming film Mark Antony was “scary and shocking”.Pictures and videos of the horrifying episode have created a lot of buzz on social media. The incident took place when Vishal was shooting an intense action sequence with co-star S J Surya. Now, Vishal has also shared a video on Twitter along with a note thanking the “almighty”. The clip opens with the actor sitting on the ground. In the next frame, we can see an out-of-control prop truck entering the frame. The crew is seen clearing the path as the vehicle approaches. The crew then moves Vishal to safety as the actor fails to react promptly. Along with the video, the actor said, “Just missed my life in a matter of a few seconds and a few inches, Thanks to the Almighty. Numb to this incident back on my feet and back to shoot, GB.” The clip has clocked 3.9 million views on Twitter. 

Vishal's production house Vishal Film Factory, in an Instagram update, said that the incident took place due to some technical glitch. The note read, “Scary and shocking. Due to some technical issue, an accident happened but luckily no one was injured.”

S J Suryahas quote-tweeted Vishal's post and wrote, “Really really thanks to god... Accidentally, instead of taking the straight route, the lorry went a little diagonal and the accident happened, if it would have come straight we both wouldn't have been tweeting now... Yeah, great thanks to god we all escaped."

Mark Antony is directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Apart from Vishal and SJ Surya, the film stars Ritu Varma, Abhinaya, Nizhalgal Ravi, RedinKingsley, and Y Gee Mahendran in important roles. The is produced by S. Vinod Kumar.
