The 37-year-old had his stint with superhero film Krrish 3 in which he played a villain opposite the superhero played by Hrithik Roshan . The successful franchise of Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish was directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan.
Talking about the few number of superhero films in filmdom, Vivek told IANS, "The budgets of superhero films are extremely high. The subject should also be interesting and to back such a huge project, it takes a lot of effort. In India, we have our own mythological heroes, but it is not easy to make a superhero film."

"Hat's off to Rakesh Roshan, who has the guts to make superhero films. The way he has made Krrish franchise a successful one, it's certainly not an easy task," he said.
