Vivek Oberoi high on success
Mumbai:
Actor Vivek Oberoi, whose debut production Dekh Indian Circus earned accolades in the international circuit, plans to produce another film.
"I believe if people have interesting ideas and if you are in a position to support those ideas, then you should do it. There is another story which I want to make and hopefully by December or January, I will produce that film also," the 36-year-old said here.
About the film's story, he said: "It is based in Gujarat, a human story. I may even act in it." Vivek, who is awaiting the arrival of his first child with wife Priyanka Alva, says film production is "stuff that I do for myself, something I enjoy doing".
The actor first backed and co-produced Dekh Indian Circus, which delved into the problems faced by a family staying in a village in Rajasthan and also aimed to depict the aspirations of rural India.
The movie, which featured Tannishtha Chatterjee, premiered at the 16th Busan Film Festival in the New Currents section and won the audience choice award for best film.
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui won the best actor and Tannishtha won the best actress award for the film at the 12th New York Indian Film Festival. Vivek is currently awaiting the release of his next film "Kismet Love Paisa Dilli", in which he stars opposite Mallika Sherawat. The movie hits screens Oct 5.
