Arthur star Russell Brand is a wanted man after New Orleans police officials issued a warrant for his arrest.
The 36-year-old British funnyman, who recently filed for divorce from his popstar wife Katy Perry, has been accused of hurling photographer Timothy Jackson's cell phone through the window of an abandoned building in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jackson filed a police report, citing "criminal damages" and the authorities are taking the claim seriously, reported TMZ online.
A misdemeanour warrant for simple criminal damage to property was issued on March 14.
Brand, who is in New Orleans filming a movie, has already offered to pay for the broken window.
