After the resounding success of Bigg Boss 16, filmmaker Farah Khan hosted a party to celebrate the contestants in February. This year, Farah's brother, director Sajid Khan was also a contestant on the hugely popular reality show. In the weeks that followed the party, Farah Khan shared several pictures and videos from the bash. Now, Farah Khan has shared another video in which MC Stan – who won Bigg Boss 16 – can be seen singing along to a rap number while grooving with fellow contestants and friends Shiv Thakare, Abdu Rozik and Nimrit Kaur. Sharing the video, Farah Khan said, “Yeh ek video bach gaya tha (One video was left) #mandli. Sajid Khan was probably somewhere eating the keema pao… guest appearance by Fahmaan Khan #throwback #biggbossparty.”
Shiv Thakare replied to the post with a heart emoji. For the unversed, mandli is the name given to the gang of friends on Bigg Boss 16 including Sajid Khan, Shiv Thakare, Abdu Rozik and MC Stan.
In addition to most of the Bigg Boss 16 contestants including Shalin Bhanot, Archana Gautam, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Soundarya Sharma, Farah Khan's party also saw several big names from Bollywood and the television industry. Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekhaa, Maheep Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Chunky Panday and his wife Bhavana Pandey, Gauahar Khan and Gautam Gulati attended the party.
That's not all. Ace tennis star and Farah Khan's BFF Sania Mirza was also at the party. In a video shared by the director, Sania Mirza is seen dancing to the song Deewangi Deewangi from Farah Khan's film Om Shanti Om. In the caption, Farah Khan said: “When the stars of my favourite show come home...along with some of my closest friends. It's Deewangi Deewangi…Sajid Khan, all for you. Thank you.”
Here are some more glimpses of the party:
The finale of Bigg Boss 16 saw BFFs MC Stan and Shiv Thakare competing for the trophy. In his acceptance speech, MC Stan – who won a prize money of ₹ 31 lakh and a car – thanked Salman Khan and said, “I am thankful to you sir for all that you have taught me. You are the most real person. I am sure my parents would be feeling very proud. Lots of love to everyone, my mandli and everyone.”
Farah Khan has previously been associated with Bigg Boss as a host and a guest.
