It's a moment for which every girl hopeful of getting married waits for at weddings. Actress Sonakshi Sinha, whose friend dropped a kaleera on her head at her pre-wedding ceremony, may be next in line as far as North Indian wedding rituals go. Sonakshi, who Instagrammed a video of the kaleera dropping pre-wedding ritual, thinks her friend 'did it on purpose.'
Dropping kaleera is the North Indian equivalent of throwing the bridal bouquet - if a kaleera comes off on a particular head, that young woman might soon be headed to the shaadi mandap.
Her dress for the wedding was an embellished Anita Dongre ensemble:
For the sangeet, Sonakshi dazzled in a pink Manish Malhotra lehenga-choli.
She posted a video which shows her twirling to the sound of soft music.
Sonakshi will next be seen on the silver screen Akira, a directed by A R Murugadoss and Force 2, which is directed by Abhinay Deo.
