Emma Watson is all set to saygoodbye to Hermione Granger Harry Potter. She is in talks toplay a role in My Week With Marilyn opposite Kenneth Branaghand Michelle Williams.
If Watson gets the role, it will be her first moviepost the successful Harry Potter franchise.
The 20-year-old will play a wardrobe assistant namedLucy in the movie based on the memoirs of Colin Clark (EddieRedmayne), who worked as Laurence Olivier's assistant on thefilm The Prince And The Showgirl in 1956. The movie alsostarred Marilyn Monroe who Colin became obsessed with,Contactmusic reported.
According to his book The Prince, The Showgirl AndMe, Colin and Lucy enjoyed a few dates during filming.
Sources believe Emma, currently studying at BrownUniversity in America, can shoot the scenes for her small partin a few days, limiting her time away from her studies.
