Ranveer Singh in conversation with NDTV.
Mumbai:
Ranveer Singh is back from the city of love (Paris, people, Paris) and since it's our first rendezvous with him post that, we ask him what's the first thing that pops to mind when we say 'amour.' Turning suddenly shy, Ranveer - without losing the Cheshire cat grin - blushes, laughs and says, "Amour... I can't tell you, I can't tell you what comes to my mind. There should be some mystery in life."
Is it just us or by saying nothing, has Ranveer said it all? With that glint in his eye, no less. But when it comes to talking about Befikre and, of course Paris, Ranveer opens up.
"The shooting of the film was actually the most fun thing I did. It's a breezy, spontaneous sort of a light romantic comedy, so the shooting experience was reflective of that. If you are doing an intense film your experience will be intense, if you are doing a light film your experience will be relatively lighter. So, I was having such a blast shooting with Adi sir (Aditya Chopra), that I would really just look forward to waking up in the morning and going for shoot everyday. And that is pretty much all we did. Quick film from start to finish. It's ready so, the time we were there it was very concentrated work . So, all I did was really shoot the film. The actual shooting of the film collaborating with Adi sir, improvising with him on the dialogues, blocking scenes, contributing my own small way to the setting up of the scene was the most fun part. Fulfilling and fun," said Ranveer.
He said rather a lot above. It was just the word 'amour' that had Ranveer tongue-tied.
Well we're glad to have Ranveer back on home turf for now - and happy to know that he's feeling the amour, even though he refuses to tell us more. We'll leave it at that.
Watch shy Ranveer Singh - a sight we never thought we'd see:
