Chennai: The Thalaivar is back. After spending over six weeks in Singapore for treatment of kidney-related ailments, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is home again in Chennai. The superstar cheerfully arrived in his trademark style, waving to hundreds of fans gathered at the airport.

The CISF at the Chennai Airport could not control the burgeoning fans. It was a free for all as hundreds of fans barged into the Arrival Terminal for a glance of their superstar. All this despite every effort on the part of the family to keep the actual arrival details a secret.
This is what some excited fans told NDTV: "He is our God and we are so lucky to see him after two months. Our leader please come for a corruption free society."
"The last two months were so difficult for fans as Rajini was moved to a hospital..." "Next the superstar is going to rock in Rana."
"Rajinikanth should speak to the fans through television."
