Cairo:
An Indian cinema club was launchedin Cairo with the screening of director Shyam Benegal's politicalsatire Well Done Abba.
The Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC),which has been screening Indian films in Egypt twice a week,re-launched the cinema club with the screening ofthe national-award-winning film.
The screening was followed by a discussion by NadiaGradini, an Egyptian expert on Indian movies. Well Done Abbastars Sammir Dattani, Minissha Lamba and Boman Irani.
Set in rural India, the film revolves around thebureaucratic corruption and how a group of villagers led by ayoung idealistic girl manage to combat it.
