Once happily married, Pete Wentz and soon-to-be ex-wife Ashley Simpson are now fighting over the custody of their son Bronx.
Wentz, 31, filed a divorce Tuesday seeking joint custody of the 2-year-old after Simpson in her divorce file a month back had indicated a desire for sole custody, with visitation rights for Wentz.
It so turns out, that's not enough for the musician-Daddy. The two are committed to staying good friends and loving parents to Bronx.
So is this going to turn into an ugly divorce battle too? Too early to tell, say legal experts.
A source close to Wentz says it's a very straightforward response asking for joint custody and fair distribution of attorney's fees. He's not gearing up for a custody war.
