New Delhi:
Aamir Khan talked about the first time he met his colleagues Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, ages ago, when none of the three were the superstars they are today. Aamir Khan, who has co-starred with Salman in
Andaz Apna Apna recalls he met the
Dabanggstar at his
Raakh director Aditya Bhattacharya's residence, reports
mid-day. "I was at Babla's (Aditya Bhattacharya) house to discuss a short film called
Paranoia, where I was the actor, spot-boy, production head, first AD - all rolled into one. We shot that film for a month. I was 15, and this is the first time I ever acted. Salman was cycling around in Carter Road. He knew Babla too. We stood in the balcony and talked. He told me about how he also wanted to become an actor. I thought of him as a sweet chap."
Aamir Khan told
mid-day that he and Salman studied in the same class but did not know each other at that time. Aamir and Salman have only made one film together but by tracking their social engagements we know that they share a great rapport.
Of his first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan, the
Rangeela actor told
mid-day: "Shah Rukh, I remember meeting briefly, when I was shooting with Juhi (actress Juhi Chawla), somewhere on the road. He had begun shooting a film with her (
Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman).
Deewana (SRK's debut film which released in 1992) hadn't released yet. He was sweet, and it was a warm meeting."
Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan haven't co-starred in a film, but the two stars recently met at a party and SRK shared a selfie and captioned it: "Known each other for 25 years and this is
the first picture we have taken together of ourselves."
Before their meeting above, Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman featured in a special 25th anniversary programme of a news channel.
Aamir Khan is currently filming Yash Raj Films'
Thugs Of Hindostan while Salman is making
Tiger Zinda Hai, also for YRF. Shah Rukh Khan is filming Aanand L Rai's yet-untitled film.
