Hero in 2015, won the Filmfare Best Debut (Male) Award for the film. Sooraj thanked his fans for supporting him.

Kangana Ranaut won the Critics' Choice Best Actor (Female) Award for
Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Amitabh Bachchan won the Critics' Choice Best Actor (Male) Award for
